File Folder Thanksgiving Card

I used the technique "rock & roll" on the leaves.  I inked the leaf with Crushed Curry and instead of rolling the edge of the leaf onto the tangerine tango stamp pad I used the sponge dauber and inked just the edges of the leaf.

Faux Cloisonne

Linda Heller (from Stamping School) introduced me to this fun technique.  It's called - Faux Cloisonne.  You chose an image from a magazine and use a stamp with open spaces (here I used Regarding Dahlias) and gold emboss over the image and cut it out.  The first card I stamped over a jack-o-lantern.  Can you see the mouth & eyes?

The second card I stamped over a chili pie dish from a Woman's Day magazine.  I love the variety of colors. All I did was match the card stock with the embossed image.

Halloween Happiness

Here's a Halloween card where I used the "sunburst technique" with the Witches' Brew designer paper.  I sponged black ink along the edges to make them stand out a little.

Stampin' Up! just introduced the new Pop & Place Holiday Gift Tags which comes in a booklet of 70+ tags in five designs--created from our existing punch and die shapes. These tags coordinate with the Season of Style products in the 2013 holiday catalog. 


The best part of the promotion is that there is a Photopolymer stamp set---Christmas Tagables that coordinates with it. They are clear so it's easy to see right through them to stamp onto the tags.

There are a few different options to choose from depending on your needs.  You can either order just the tag book, just the stamp set, or 2 different bundles.  It's up to you!  The Starter Bundle would be a great gift to give to a friend or family member.  It contains the tag book, stamp set, clear block to use with the stamps, and a little stamp pad (called a Stampin' Spot').  All you need to create the tags.
